What Clients are Saying

This is the PERFECT way for busy parents like us to get our estate planning done with a bare minimum of hassle. Tim is an accomplished professional who was there for us every step of the way.
-Jennifer B., Sewanee, TN

The whole process was done in a timely manner and was done to our satisfaction. The cost was reasonable for the amount of work completed. This legal matter was something I wanted to take care of for a long period of time, having the ability to proceed at home, finally allowed us to get started and get it done.
-Carl B., Knoxville, TN

About the Firm

My law firm is an online or "virtual" law practice. The process is simple: First register, then request a legal document or legal advice and receive a quote for those services. Accept the quote, and I will then provide you with legal advice or other legal services. After the work requested has been completed, you will be invoiced for the amount quoted, and once the invoice is paid, I will deliver the completed work to you. If you agree to the Terms and Conditions stated in the limited legal services agreement, simply register in the Online Office and request specific legal services. If I am unable to provide all of the necessary services related to your request, you will be provided free of charge with a referral to another Tennessee attorney or to a Tennessee Lawyer Referral Service.

I provide cost-effective and efficient legal services pertaining to Tennessee law. Limited legal services are sometimes also termed as "unbundled" legal services. This means that I will provide only a limited scope of legal services as requested by you. My relationship with you will not exceed the limited scope of work I have agreed to perform on your behalf.

Why Create an Online Law Office?

Quality legal services should be available to everyone regardless of income level. Many times clients are unable or unwilling to pay hundreds of dollars per hour to meet with an attorney in person when they have only general legal questions or need basic legal guidance. The number of self-represented litigants has been rising, creating challenges and strains on our court systems.  Many self-represented litigants exist because they cannot afford to hire a lawyer. A 2003 American Bar Association Report of the Modest Means Task Force stated that one method by which attorneys can improve the fairness of the American legal system is to provide limited legal services "to people who cannot afford 'full-service' representation."  Handbook on Limited Scope Legal Assistance, A Report of the Modest Means Task Force, American Bar Association, Section of Litigation, 2003. That's what my Online Office does for you.

Without the high overhead costs of a physical law office, my Online Office provides clients with limited legal counseling and assistance in civil matters, including the preparation of Estate Planning materials and basic legal documents such as Partnership and Operating Agreements for small businesses, Residential and Commercial Lease Agreements, and other contracts and agreements prepared in accordance with Tennessee Law. How the Online Office is Better for You

The Online Office relationship encourages communication with clients.  By now you probably realize that I have thrown out the time clocks so you never have to be afraid to contact me with a quick question.

The greatest aspect of the Online Office is that you can communicate with me any time that you wish.  If you've got a question at 2:00 a.m., feel free to ask away!  I promise that I will respond quickly!

To get started right away, simply register in the Online Office and begin by simply letting me know what you need.

I look forward to hearing from you and caring for you soon!
